Dark City Digital was engaged by Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York City (CCANY) to design a complete marketing campaign to communicate and drive visibility for their new free Find Help native app.
The campaign was designed so that CCANY could raise visibility for their services through the app across multiple communications channels. For this project, we created banner stands, posters, fact sheets, numerous social media posts and cards, a responsive landing page and app interstitial pages that appeared on their website. We also partnered to created a short promotrional video which can be viewed below.
The Find Help app offers users access to Catholic Charities’ vast network, including contact information and maps for all resources. If there is not an appropriate Catholic Charities program or site available, the app will direct users to other resources that can help address their needs.
The app highlights four key service areas:
- Find food
- Find housing
- Locate substance abuse and recovery centers
- Assistance with immigration issues
01 Design Direction
Editorial and Visual Style Guide
Kicking off the campaign, we set out to articulate and establish both a language and visual direction to the campaign based upon CCNY's own vision for their organization and their mission statement to carry out that vision, something they never had for the branding.
After establishing the key messages and visual direction to build consistency across a multi-channel campaign, we made sure that it would echo their own sentiments about the people and the communities around them. Our overarching focus was firmly on communicating solutions and illustrating hope to people in need.




02 Print Deliverables
Meeting people where they are.
The print component of the campaign focused on the people most likely to act—family members, friends, and social workers positioned to connect others with support. The goal was simple: make it easier to find help for someone in need, in the moments that matter.
Posters and banner stands were placed in high-visibility, high-traffic environments to naturally draw attention and prompt engagement. Designed to be clear, direct, and approachable, these materials brought awareness into everyday spaces—highlighting both the scale of need across New York City and the accessibility of meaningful support through the Find Help app.





03 Digital Deliverables
One unified message across multiple touchpoints.
We extended the visual and functional language of the Find Help app across a range of digital channels, ensuring a consistent and recognizable experience wherever users engaged. Rather than creating disconnected assets, we built from a shared foundation—adapting core elements to suit each platform while maintaining clarity and cohesion.
This included targeted social media content, a responsive landing page designed to guide users quickly, strategic interstitial placements within the website, and a short-form video to support awareness and engagement. Each component was intentionally aligned, creating a streamlined digital presence that reinforced the app’s purpose and made access to help feel immediate and intuitive.





04 Video Production
Full-Spectrum Storytelling.
We partnered with Ronan & Ronan , which transformed into a significant force multiplier for the project. Together, we engineered a promotional video for the Find Help app designed to cut cleanly across digital channels and hold attention where it matters.
Every frame was intentional. From scripting and storyboarding to animation, voice, and final edit, we owned the full stack of production—creative direction included. No gaps, no handoffs, no dilution. Just a tightly executed piece of storytelling built to move fast, land hard, and make the message stick.

Dark City Digital didn’t just launch their campaign—we built a system designed for for impact. Partnering with Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York, the team transformed an under-the-radar utility into a high-visibility lifeline.
Anchored by a newly defined editorial and visual identity, the campaign cut through the noise with clarity and purpose, aligning every touchpoint—from street-level print to responsive digital experiences—around one outcome: connecting people to real help, fast.
